Over four decades in the sign industry have offered the opportunity to not only oversee the design, fabrication, installation and maintenance of signage, but also gain insight into the intricacies of including signage in the details of construction and development projects.
I have had the opportunity to work with the Telegraph District development team, consulting on the signage and street graphics for the district. Prior to that I worked with the developer of Fallbrook, authoring language dealing with sign types for their planned unit development. I also have assisted Sandhills Publishing with use permit language for a campus sign plan and Bryan Health with details needed for an amendment to their east campus special use permit .
I have had the opportunity to oversee a project for Union Bank and Trust that involved signage for a new logo on multiple facilities. And the opportunity to coordinate the signage portion of the new corporate headquarters facility for Cornhusker Bank. This project involved major identification graphics as well as interior and exterior wayfinding.
These projects along with my involvement in a variety of organizations, both local business and national sign industry provide a valuable foundation for my consulting efforts.
With over 40 years of experience in the signage business, I have worked with a variety of architects, engineers and property owners to develop solutions that improve way finding and help strengthen the clients brand. My experience includes single structure sites, large campuses and multi-acre developments. By virtue of my diverse experience, I can help you analyze plans to identify the best location and assist with graphic characteristics of all signage. I can provide timely review of plans to ensure that the signage adheres to all codes and ordinances, which can also help to minimize change orders. My knowledge and understanding of local signage ordinances and regulations can provide efficiency and value to the application process and during regulatory review.
